About me:

I am a Registerd Counsellor and Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy MBACP (Accred) currently working in Private Practice. I am also an Affilate Counsellor on an Employee Assistance Programme.

In 1999, I experienced a personal crisis and turned to counselling and complimentary therapy for support. Following that I decided to study Integrative Counselling and was drawn to the creative arts. I found that the creative arts helped shift blocks in me that talking therapy alone was unable to do. I graduated with a diploma in Counselling in 2004, a certificate in Person-Centred Art Therapy Skills (PCATS) in 2005 and a diploma in PCATS in 2007. Since 2004, I have worked in various settings such as in a bereavement agency, a hospice, a mental health charity, a primary school and a counselling service for young people.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Person-Centred Art Therapy Association (PCATA).

My focus is on supporting adults by offering one-to-one counselling and creative workshops/courses so individuals can increase their self-awareness, gain new insights and find clarity.
